04:30 AM – Pick-Up from Hotel
Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel or resort in Diani, Mombasa, Watamu, or Malindi.
Drive along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway toward Bachuma Gate, the main entry point to Tsavo East.
Enjoy a beautiful African sunrise en route as you travel through scenic countryside and local villages.

Enter Tsavo East National Park
Arrive at Bachuma Gate, complete park formalities, and begin your morning game drive in the park.
Tsavo East is famous for its “Red Elephants”, colored by the park’s red soil, and offers open savannahs that make wildlife viewing spectacular.

Morning Game Drive
Embark on a game drive through the vast plains, spotting wildlife such as:

• Lions
• Elephants
• Zebras
• Buffaloes
• Giraffes
• Leopards (if lucky)
• Cheetahs, and many species of antelope and birdlife.

Drive along the Aruba Dam, a favorite watering spot that attracts many animals.

Mid-Morning Break & Lunch
Stop at a safari lodge or camp inside the park (such as Voi Safari Lodge, Ashnil Aruba Lodge, or Sentrim Tsavo Camp) for refreshments and a delicious buffet lunch.
Enjoy panoramic views of wildlife gathering near the nearby waterholes.

Afternoon Game Drive
After lunch, continue with another short game drive as you head towards the park exit.
This is a good time to spot elephants and other animals taking shelter near trees or water sources before the midday heat.

Exit Tsavo East National Park
Leave the park via Bachuma Gate and begin your return journey to the coast.
Relax and enjoy scenic views of the Taita Hills and rural landscapes along the way.

Arrive back at your hotel in Diani Beach, Mombasa, Watamu, or Malindi after an unforgettable day in the African wild.
